5 Tips to Make Just Cause 4 Easier
How to earn more chaos points, what to do in tombs, how to move faster around the map and other tricks that will help in the fight against the ruthless dictator.
1. Move around the world wisely
There are many ways to get around in Just Cause 4. You can pull yourself to surfaces and objects with a hook, fly a parachute and wingsuit, get into a transport or use fast movement. In all these possibilities, a player who is not familiar with the series can easily get confused. Here’s what you need to know to navigate the world of the game as efficiently as possible.
Hook pull only works at short distances. It replaces running perfectly: if you need to quickly get to a lever or button, just pull yourself to the ground next to the desired object.

On a parachute, the main character of the game Rico flies slowly, but does not lose altitude for a long time. It is so convenient to circle around the enemy base, shooting it with bullets and missiles. But for long-distance travel, the parachute is poorly suited.
Wingsuit is one of the fastest means of transportation, not counting airplanes and some helicopters. If the target is less than three kilometers away, then a wingsuit is a good option. The main thing is to remember that Rico quickly decreases when he uses it. You can gain altitude by attracting yourself to higher points or, conversely, dropping to the surface for a while.

Driving cars around the world of Just Cause 4 is worth it only if you enjoy the process of driving. They are inferior in everything to any air transport. Helicopters for the most part are also not very fast, but they have a lot of weapons – it is convenient to clear the bases.
The fastest mode of transport in the game is jet aircraft. If the target is more than three kilometers away, it makes sense to find the nearest airport and steal the plane there. Or order it from the rebels. Just make sure first that there is enough space near you to take off.
Fast movement will instantly take you to any point on the map from those that you have already visited. But it can be used a limited number of times until you have enough rebel pilots. And in any case, this is not as fun as flying to the goal yourself.

2. Be creative when destroying bases
Just Cause 4 offers an almost infinite number of ways to destroy enemy property. You can throw grenades at everything, launch rockets, shoot from machine guns and stationary machine guns. And then there are the tanks, the helicopters, the anti-aircraft guns, the pull rope, the sticky explosives, the balloons, and so on.
The most exciting activity in the game is to combine and alternate these methods when clearing the bases. For example, tanks with gas are perfectly dismantled with the help of an attractive cable. An enemy helicopter will quickly fall behind you if you attach a couple of balloons to it. The bases of towers with satellite dishes are well demolished by cars.

Also, a good option is to stick a bunch of explosives on the car, point at an explosive object, jump out of it on the go and activate the detonator. Or you can lift it into the air with the help of balloons, and then drop it on the heads of opponents.
3. Choose the right priorities in battles
In the early levels, the player is confronted by weak soldiers and a minimum of equipment. But as you progress, the protection of the bases will improve. Since there are no first aid kits in the game, there is only one way to survive as long as possible: constantly move and destroy enemies in the correct order.
At the beginning of the attack on the base, you need to get rid of artillery and anti-aircraft guns as soon as possible. They can get in the way if you want to fly a wing suit or helicopter. If you find yourself in the field of view of a sniper or a rocket scientist, then they also need to be finished off immediately: their weapon hits very painfully.

Next, you should cut down armored soldiers in helmets and fighters with shotguns. On opponents without special equipment, it is worth spending time only if they interfere a lot. Otherwise, they are almost harmless.
A couple of minutes after the start of the battle, helicopters and tanks will be sent to deal with you. They are best blown up (or borrowed) as soon as they are in your field of vision. Otherwise, soon you will begin to pester with hits from cannons and rocket launchers.
4. Look for levers in tombs
Tombs in Just Cause 4 need to be completed to get upgrade points for the hook. Each tomb is a puzzle. Sometimes it is difficult to understand what exactly needs to be done.

In situations like this, always look for leverage first — that’s where most of the mysteries begin. Pressing the lever with the help of an attractive cable releases a huge cobblestone (it is impossible not to notice it).
Your task is to help the cobblestone reach a certain point. To understand which one, look for depressions in the ground. Then, if necessary, roll it with an attractive cable.
5. Earn as many chaos points as possible
To complete Just Cause 4, you need to capture regions. This requires rebels for chaos points. They are earned by destroying enemy units, equipment and buildings.
To get these bonuses as quickly as possible, blow up all the major enemy equipment you meet. Boats, helicopters, tanks, reconnaissance airships. Also, many points are given out for a series of kills – for example, you can grip several enemies with cables, and then throw a grenade at them.

A series of explosions will also work well. Try to build a whole chain of destruction. For example, arrange red barrels so that they demolish several objects or buildings at once. If you want to clear the base as quickly as possible, then sit behind the anti-aircraft gun, in a tank or helicopter. They are very powerful, and their ammunition is infinite.
